I just bought the 30 cube storage unit for all of my mom’s yarn & crafts and I am very happy with it. Like many have said, the quality is not phenomenal but it definitely stays together just fine and it looks really nice! I really just want to address an issue that many people have mentioned. Like many have said, I too had an issue with the cube doors not staying shut BUT we figured out a workaround that works great!! We assembled the doors so that they open upwards, with the finger hole at the bottom. We inserted the the doors on the top of the connectors so they can swing fully open and they don’t pull off of the connectors when we shut them and gravity keeps them shut. It is working great!! Just wanted to pass this along.Negatives: The instructions very clearly state not to place the metal grating pieces on the floor so your base has to be comprised of plastic pieces. I'm not sure if this is because the metal pieces would somehow damage the floor or if it's because the company didn't provide enough metal pieces to use as a base but as I planned on putting my heaviest books on the bottom for practical and safety reasons - this came as a disappointment to me - though it is one I can overlook. Also, all of the connectors are circular which I was expecting because of the picture but which, in hindsight, I wish it were possible to purchase some kind of edge piece connecter that has flat edges for the sides, top, and floor. Right now I have this constructed on carpet but we plan on having our floors redone with LVP soon and I worry that the plastic connectors will damage it and the way they stick out on the sides and top give it an unfinished messy look. Finally, the doors don't stay closed. I'm going to have to purchase some small sticky magnets to remedy this problem as I'm getting very tired of walking into my bedroom and seeing 1 or 2 doors just hanging half open. The positives: It was super easy to assemble. Everything clicked into place so easily that I really didn't even need the mallet (which was sturdy plastic with a metal head and not wood as apparently it used to be) that came with it. I love the I can configure the pieces however I want because I was able to make a step-type bookshelf for the foot of my bed that gives it the dual purpose of housing my nerd-level book collection and giving my geriatric cat an easy and safe way on and off my way taller than normal bed. It's also really pretty. The design is subtle and matches nicely with my curtains. It also seems quite sturdy though I plan on zip-tying it to the footboard of my bed in 2 places just for added security for the cat but so far that hasn't been needed as she's been jumping on and off of it for days without any problems. All-in-all I'm happy with it and will probably end up buying a second one (without doors) for my yarn collection.I got this for my daughters toys and she has a lot, first of all if you put heavy stuff on the bottom it will be sturdy enough and much lighter on top cause it will eventually fall apart from the racks where you slid the black covers over it to keep it together. The doors are cute but a complete waste of time they get stuck with the bottom door and I eventually had to take them off cause when she went to open the bottom door the top smacked her in the face. I'm sure if you used this for clothes or something very light it would hold up but since I'm using it for toys, like I said heavier stuff on bottom it still seems to fall apart every now and again and I'm finding myself pushing racks back into place. But over all it gets the job done. This company gives the best customer service. The product is sturdy and decorative. If you have any problems the company will respond to your emails and resolve any issue without hesitation. I will buy again from them.Quick and easy!We liked the fact that they shipped very quickly and arrived in sturdy packaging. The assembly instructions are 50-50 and putting it together was a little difficult trying to make all of the pieces fit into the plastic connectors. The one thing that struck me was the odor coming from the pieces the sides and tops of the cubes it reeked of cigarette smoke it was so intense that we had to take it outside and air it out. So the smell to say the least is a huge detractor I worry that my clothing or anything fabric that is placed inside these cubes will take on that horrific awful nasty smell. Therefore I received it on a Friday and I am waiting another week to see if the smell dissipates if it does not I will be returning this. As for being sturdy I may not find this out if the smell does not dissipate from the plastic . it is lightweight and SEEMS sturdy but I question seriously these cubes holding more than 5 lbs each before the vinyl sides start to buckle especially the top row of cubes. I bought a set of 12.I really like this cabinet plenty of room for things and very strong I didn’t understand the directions much but I managed to get it together didn’t know where the clips go.But I love it anyway.Thank YouI love this! I hated storing my clothes in dresser…felt like I could never really see all my options and nothing fit well in the drawers so I ordered this. It’s relatively easy to put together took me about an hour. The clips to hold the sections together make it so much more sturdy! I built it and carried it to another room and nothing even came apart. It holds all my clothes and I feel like it will hold up well. Very satisfied!
